Linn and Kelly Shaw are real homebuyers who are a part of the first BuyNewBuyNowAZ.com video series. They are real people who were asked about the process they went through to purchase a home in the Phoenix area. They are real buyers with real answers about what the experience is like for people who are looking at the different types of homes that are available in the current marketplace.

In Part 2 of their interview there are several key points in regards to purchasing a brand new home from a builder:

1. Working With A New Home Builder Is Simple And Straight Forward:

Many people are familiar with the process of purchasing a resale home from an actual buyer (which is stressful enough), however many people do not realize what it takes to purchase distressed real estate.  The process to purchase a short sale and foreclosure can be extremely frustrating, long, stressful, and tiresome.  This is because there are so many “moving parts” involved in these transactions.  Many new home buyers are surprised at the ease of the purchase after they have been viewing and losing distressed homes.  A new home is a face to face purchase with only the buyer and seller involved.

2. Choice And Affordability:

Foreclosure and Short Sales are the big buzz words of the past few years.  With the media paying so much attention to these areas of real estate, people have misconceptions of new homes.  New home builders have multiple floorplans in highly desirable locations.  This means that if you find a location that works, you will be able to find a home that works too.  New homes are also competitively priced to reflect today’s market.  New home builders would not still be in business if they did not sell homes.  This tells you one thing…builders are selling homes at prices people will pay for.  They also have other incentives, such as financing, that often times make a new home a better value than anything else!

3. Purchasing A New Home Is Fun:

This is a pretty simple statement, but one that is often overlooked!  Purchasing a home should be a fun and exciting time.  The ease and piece of mind that a brand new home provides allows a buyer to enjoy the process.  When someone writes a contract on a new home, they own it…no waiting!  A home that has never been lived in and includes great warranties for years to come allows new home buyers to be excited about their new home purchase!
